Perennially absorbed by how things are constructed, Lisa's interest in chain mail was first piqued when she started to see so much of it - following her marriage to a Medieval historian.
Her collection produced for Mostly Manx is an exciting development for Lisa, marking a departure
from her usual bespoke pieces. Working in chain mail from a number of traditions including
European, Byzantine, Persian and Japanese, Lisa comments, 'I enjoy mixing the varied traditions of
mail-work from across the World as well as trying to bring a modern twist to a very old craft.
Being most familiar with individual commissions, it was quite exciting to produce a range of
jewellery with a broad appeal.'
