Sue Cunliffe - Festive Cushions

Vibrant, colourful patchwork is Sue's specialty.  Manx-born, Sue has lived on the Isle of Man all her life and her passion for the Island's heritage and traditions are carried through in her detailed craft work.

In 2004 she was introduced to the traditional Manx 'log cabin' patchwork and prepared a square which was joined with 79 others to make a quilt to raise funds for charity.

Since then Sue has spent many hours collecting a wide variety of materials which she combines to make her Christmas cushions, all of which are unique in their design. 

Until recently, her cushions have been donated to charity or given as presents to family and friends, but their encouragement has persuaded her to make them available to a wider public!
