When not out kayaking, camping or metal detecting around the Island, Chris likes to spend his time creating unique fires, log burners and barbeques as well as simple engraved stones for pet memorials or house names.

Whenever possible, Chris only uses recycled materials as it is his firm belief that almost anything can have a second life, his fires can be built to almost any specification or finish. He tries to create fires and barbeques that create a focal point of any garden even when they are not in use and prides himself on building each fire to a discerning standard that allows it to be enjoyed for years, even decades and offers a limited 10 year warranty on all his creations.

Whilst some standard fires are built and held in stock, Chris prefers to create a design to the wishes of the customer, even just an idea is enough to get started with.
